Depends. I celebrate christmas on the 24th. Open a gift, help my mom with the cooking (she makes some awesome shit, she does), go to my uncle's house to chat a bit with the rest of the family and to change gifts, wait for midnight and open all the gifts.

On the 25th it feels like hangover. Everything my mom cooks vanishes, and we have to clean the house.
