Civilian Class?

Ok, I've read recently on the forums a bit about the civilian class, either in passing to TFC or to TF2. My question is: WT Flip is it?

There was a game mode called the hunted in TFC, where one team had to escort a special class, the civilian, which is randomly picked from the team. The other team has to kill this guy. However, it lead to greifing, and was replaced by payload in TF2. I'm not sure that was your question though.

civilian in tf2 might also reefer to the retarded heavy
