Disabled account

So, I tried to log on my account today, but this message came up:

"this steam account has been disabled"

"See the steam support site for information"

So I did and asked them what was going on, I am now waiting for an answer.

What do you think guys, perhaps I can nevah play with y'guys again!

when the latest scam on steam accounts was going on you sent me a message with the url to the website that copies the steam login site.

So basically they are "borrowing" My account now to remove those scammer's`?

Did you send me the message?

If not then you probably got hacked and the hacked account got banned because somebody tried to direct people to the dodgy website.

If you sent me the message and maybe a lot of other people too, I can imagine that valve might think you are a scammer und thus should be banned.

My account got hi-jacked once (Long time ago). I reported it to Valve and I believe I received that same message when I tried to log in just a day before I regained control of my account, not entirely sure if that's the exact same message though.
I think that perhaps when they get a person claiming that their account has been hi-jacked they disable that account to prevent the hi-jacker from doing any further damage? Y'know, such as cheating and getting you permanantly VAC banned.

Anyway, I thought that they can't ban your entire Steam account? VAC ban only prevents you from playing on VAC secure servers.

The thing i want to know is that: Is my account lost forever, or is it just down for a few days`? Since they do not really say much about that in Steam Support

They will ask you tp scan your game id and ingame name to send to them so they see you got the game and code from game box. Thats what they had me do when my account got messed with. UNLESS YOUR A DIRTY BASTARD HACKER lmao and if you are fek yea hope yea dick drops off

At the steam support site you mean`? You ask a question (new ticket)--> select account questions --> disabled account, then write in the CD-key on the Orange Box that I have`?

Yeah, try that. Actually steam support are the only ones who can help you because they're the ones who dropped you out.
We can just speculate.
