FESTERS PLACE

Last night a lot of people's game crashed at the same time. Maybe it was just coincidence but it happened during sudden death melee. Could people please post up here if it happens again. I checked for an updated version of the mod this morning and there hasn't been one since Feb. If this is the problem then I'd rather disable it for the moment.

I vote for anything that will discourage melee, although im not suggesting that NOVA cant slap me with his fish. But i need a big gun to fight back with.

It is a problem bosco started since the summer update, thought we all new about it to be honest hence the lack of posts discussing it Seems to cause around 50% to crash to desktop.

AH!!! cool cheers feather. I've not been playing much these days so last night was the first time I got that particular crash. Will look into, i.e. ask bbloke about disabling the mod

Forum has been absolutely dead if you compare it to a few months ago, so that explains why no one has made a post about it, but yeah Bosco, it has been like this for weeks allready during the sudden death melee.

i've never had this issue.. wonder what factor it is that contributes to it..

I would have no clue but usually I tend to blame graphics drivers for this kinda thing. Myself and jase both use nvidia and we both crashed. Would be interesting to see if ATI users don't crash. Probably way off though

I'm ATI, and i was one of the few to never crash, but see everyone else drop indeed...

hmm i have nvidia as well, havent had the sudden death 'death'..

altho i have had a little issue where the game has a spasm like huge lag, and then all my textures go bananas and i have to restart tf2.. (i think this may because i had other stuff running tho..)

ATI here and have crashed on melee once or twice....including last night which robbed me of the opportunity to gloat at my removal of boscos head....
