FESTERS PLACE

Hey guys,

I just wanted to discuss with you some good sentry positions for 2fort, and I noticed that there isn't really a place to put this topic. Now I know that this is a fun-server but I'm sure everyone would profit from knowing some better ambush routes for pyros, spies, some tested sentry positions etc.

So how about a Tactics and strategies section at the forum's main page?

as exfane put it in another topic we are just a bunch of mindless zombies that run into battle guns ablazin, we dont need stratagies and tactics here at festers

What tactics? TFC got no damn spies. I´ve try to set some sentry on some old "very well remembered" positions. No way with out pyro cover You cant never leave your sg long enough alone. This was possible in classic.

Build SG - run forward - got some fraggs - run back - repair / reload - run forward. etc. etc. etc.

Tactics: kill them

I think this is a good idea. I've been in some situations where the outcome could've been different if my team knew some tactics.


It's a fun server, but how bad can this be? Competitive play sucks anyway.

My tactics for the pyro are.

1. Spawn
2. Run in and burn as much as possible and run out
3. If you live. Maybe find health and goto 2.
4. If you die goto 1.
repeat

I figure if i've got a roughly 1:1 KD ratio i'm not doing too bad!!

mine are
1. spawn as sniper
2. headshot everyone until some dirty bastard kills me
3. respawn
4. repeat

Jased's is:

1. Spawn
2. Talk for ages to everyone about nothing
3. Walk out of spawn room
4. Get killed by random flying crit
5. Return to 1
