Ah Chocobos!xexes wrote:Yes, and with the brainwashing these days - anything on the internet or tele MUST be true....
Hmm, I think I will go start my own encyclopedia of "true" stuff - The Elusive Santa Hatted Ferret-Riding Squirrels and Their Pet Chocobos.
I could never get the hang of breeding them properly.
That's not to say that I didn't spend countless hours trying to though!

No idea what one of those is so I had to google it... I'm so behind the times!! LOL Then again Final Fantasy were never high on my play list

Re: What the bleep, down the rabbit hole
As long as you personally didnt try to breed with them. A human-Chocobo hybrid is not what this world needs!LazyEagle wrote:Ah Chocobos!xexes wrote:Yes, and with the brainwashing these days - anything on the internet or tele MUST be true....

To get the gold chocobo you had to make them do allot of inbreeding

Re: What the bleep, down the rabbit hole
I remember HOURS, spent at the chocobo ranch, mating... failing... reseting the game, trying again.
The hard part was knowing what of the wild chocobos to mate to get what, and what to feed them.
The chocobo sage on the northern continent would give you info from time to time. And the other hard part was knowing like 2 bunnies and a chocobo was a Best, and stuff like 2 elphadunks and a chocobo is a Good, etc etc.
Poor chocobo's were pretty useless, unless just trying to get a racing one maybe... but the other pure breeds come out better anyways.
Also, if you played FF7 and never got like the golden chocobo you missed out.
Knights of the Round is HOT.
Pretty much essential to beating Ruby and Emerald.
There are some pretty sick combo's you could do where you could cast Knights of the Round 2 times with one character in one turn (260,000 damage) then mime it with the next two characters for another 520,000 for no MP cost.
Did I mention I love this game?

Knights of the round with double cast and mime was the top tier of ass kickery in FF7, absolutely essential for battering ruby and emerald.
I also have an unhealthy love for the game.
