I hate MMOS because of:
FUN AS HELL GRIND FESTS THAT MAKE ME WANT TO JUMP UP AND DOWN WITH EXCITEMENT
The player who has played for longer than the other will 99% of the time, beat any one 1on1 in PvP.
This is why I love TF2. Its got crits so noobs can have fun too, but a no-crit server does not hurt from time to time.
The method VALVe have decided on (grind for achievements) sucks to the extreeeme.
The level system of COD4 is better than it even.
I don't mind new weapons, but some achievements require you to play at least 200 hours just to get one. Then a lot of the achievements are grieve worthy stupidness. (Uber a scout and assist him in getting 5 kills during that time, or Uber a heavy and punch a lvl3 sentry to death).
If this goes topside, I am pulling out (of all online play), as much as it pains me to say so. Online play is still new and fun to me, in fact, its the most fun I have had on a single game in my life so far. I just want to know, honestly, is this going to stay a Vannila-ish Server with a few custom maps, or are we going to do the stupid on it and close up every few days so we can all help each other get our achievements?
