Once you've installed the Source SDK they can be found in steam\steamapps\[account name]\sourcesdk_content\tf\modelsrc\player\

I don't use 3dsmax myself anymore but there is a tutorial over at the steamforums which hopefully helps:

I thought it was simple as well, now I now why no one made it before, the amount of work I had to put in was crazy, making it took like 3 hours, getting it look right and glitchless in game was a nightmare which lasted like 2 days...

Veeeery niiiice.
I assume you had to redo the whole hand (or was it just copy-pasta hand, add dusters).
Also, minor glitch.
The square patch you can see is slightly darker than the rest of the arm, as are the fingers i think.

Yep sharp dagger, the hands are part of the dusters. And the darker texture bug is fixed cause i remade the texture, first the duster and hand shared same 1024x1024 texture. Made the hand to use just regular texture from fists and duster has its own 512x512 texture. Its good because the dusters will now work with custom fists skins

Sounds good, also in relation to the sniper rifle (re read whole thread second ago), I'd go for some kind of metal, but not that shade as it just blends with the rest of it. Or what about light wood (hurr hurr) like this. And I'd say keep the orange zoom scope, reminds me of NT scope.
