Did you have to manually adjust the white balance on the snow shots? I'd be quite impressed if the point-and-shoot managed to get the white balance so accurate on it's own, it's quite difficult to do.

Nope all Photo's and screenies are "as was taken".
Just used the program button on my camera for Snowy scenes and it did all the work.
And the screenies captured with the new steam screenshot key.
