the source seems to have been removed, probably some hoax to stop people from buying it. My bad.

Completed the campaign, its fairly good short though and easier to play on veteran than its predecesors, completed even with a number of deaths in under 5 hours on the first run through (now running through again to grab the intel).

Multiplayer is fun, specially the 3rd person variants, im quite good with the Intervention and ppsh2000.

The game is decent and in fact better than i thought it would be, having only played the console versions of past titles.

Single player is really good and looks friggin beautiful.

Multiplayer is ok and the gamemodes are good with some seriously pretty maps. However it's not community based at all and if your the sort've person that would sit in front of a game for 100+ hours without trying to communicate with another of the human beings you've been wasting your life with, then im sure thats fine.

One HUGE gripe i had with it..

I purchased the game from ASDA.

Went home, DVD in drive, 'install COD:MW2'.. steam loads up.. Ok, didnt know steam were even involved at this point.

After serial entered and MW2 is added to my 'Games' tab, each time i would goto install the game steam would start to DOWNLOAD the content from the web, never getting further than 'Creating local game cache files'. Most of the time crashing just as they've been 'created'.

So i just bought these 2 DVD's, why?

This was apparently a HUGE problem that steam managed to overlook, and i managed to overcome after 5.5hrs of trying various solutions steam employees had posted on the MW2 section on the Steam forums (including having to use a beta version of steam they put up on the day), eventually installing from the DVD drive.

This was a huge mission and not an experience i really want again. Wondering if anyone had this same problem installing on the pc?

That aside i'll gladly play the single and multi-player as its a nice game, just made me laugh the way steam fucked that up that epically, it's hardly the first cock-up is it?

WAR TF2

The SP is good, but it does end up a bit Action movieish at the end.
The co op is fantastic.
I procurred this game by naughty means so i haven't played the multiplayer.

How well does IW.net work latency wise, because that is all that is keeping me from actually buying it.
