I've just watched the red bull advert for the new season with all the new rule changes, I've not looked forwards to a forumla one season this much ever!

I would watch it loads but I never know when it's on and i never bother to find out cause I is playing L4D and CSS to much.

Interesting that they use the, usually wasted, braking work to generate new energy, first time I've seen something like that outside of the industrial sector.

That doexs look good jonny. I was wondering how this KERS thing was actually going to affect the racing, but its basically a small speed boost!

Soon they will have red and green tyres to throw, oil slicks and a bastrad blue tyre that only hits the leader!

It will be called F1 Kart.

Not too far from the truth, hai.

KERS working properly is good for maybe .5/.6 sec per lap it's reckoned, it's an additional 80hp of use it or lose it boost per lap, for a devilish 6.666 seconds, but can only be used at over 60mph
not all teams will be running it at the start of the season(it's optional).

as for red and green tyres....no red, but super ugly green tyres we will have
The option tyres and the wet tyres will have green stripes to identify them, cos well you know F1 is so eco friendly(green) n all o 'dat


and there will be karts! the talk is of adding kart support races to the 2010 seasons euro races, a "stars of tommorrow" kinda thing

btw, anyone following the testing? Wots the story w/ mclaren, superconfident sandbagging or in troubles? word on the street is the latter, but you never know. No one ever shows their full hand before the season starts, but they have been worryingly (for a macca fan, not me ) off the pace

29/03/09 - and (thank goodness) back on the BBC. I hope they bring back 'The Chain' as well; wouldn't sound right without it!
