Now to contradict what I just said.
The reason console sales are higher than computers is because, you need a decent computer to play computer games, as Xbox's are all the same.
I'm not really sure where I'm going with this.

It wouldn't surprise me that the figures have some credibility. Considering how many PC's are in the world how many are artually worthy of being called a gaming PC and where would the definition start and stop. Ergo the xbox 360. Isn't it just a console derived from PC hardware with all the trimmings strip away so it can do it's job a "little" better! Look at the prices, xbox is the cheapest in the line up, followed by the PS3 and then the PC.

True. Still it kinda dawned on me halfway through the post that my points were valid, but that I was already pre-empting several arguments not mentioned. It kinda felt like shooting arguments in a barrel and for that moment I wished that someone actually took the time to write out some clear and strong arguments for the other side.

Except voicing justified criticisms about a game as a reason not to buy it is not whining (I love how that's become the nets new comment of the month). It is in fact probably helping people make an informed decision about whether or not to buy it.

Meh... One one hand this looks so much awesome, but on the other hand you have all that bs... Well, as im looking at it now if sp will be good enough ill probably get 1C localized Russian release at way more appropriate pricing, take cd key from it and use on whatever is available on torrents. Atleast there are reports of that working for previous cod games...
