I have come to expect no less from japan, and this continues the trend. Besides, i would consider most of the music pumped out on the radio here every day 10 times worse, well, mabey thats a slight exaggeration. It just sounds like an anime theme song!
Anyway, my reply to above madness is the following;

Yeah they sure do. Two bands that spring to mind are Super Junky Monkey and Melt Banana. Love them. Also Cowboy Bebop would not be the masterpiece that it is without Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts.The Japs do have some serious talent when it comes to music.
Yeah victor is one of a kind. Was never a style i try to emulate much. Partly because its bloody hard and partly cause my bass is a piece of shit and just wouldn't sound right for it.
