Algo totally agree, energy drink too is stupid, too much power in 1 class.

FFS thats the whole point of the spy, the spy doesnt have a double jump, the spy cannot move that quick, the spy doesnt have a powerful shotgun. A spies job is to blend in and then take down a key player and disappear. Theyve nuked his ability to stab an unsuspecting wall hugging sniper or coward turtle engy.
So overall scouts fuck up ubers and spies cant stab the engies, so sentries are unkillable. Theyve ruined the balance of classes totally :twisted:

They gave the heavy the ability to slow down a (even ubered) scout.
They gave the scout the ability to completely incapacitate an invulnerable heavy / waste it's invulnerability :D


I don't mind so much about the scout... the spy update is more annoying.

Take away the stupid ability to see who an enemy player is, why would a spy possibly need that...
There's only two reasons I can think of.

1.) Only ever kill yamnivek
2.) Don't try and kill advent

Take it away! Bring back side stabs!

I moan about the knife! But only cause it's annoying. At least it was till I improved my game so I only get stabbed now by good spying rather than poorness on my part. In which case I say well played spy lol.

I dont give a crap about "sure kills" since i mostly play sniper and i get a sure kill everytime i hit a head. The ability to make players unable to do anything in an fps is just bullshit imo.

I'm with algo a bit on this one.
I like the pyro blowback, it doesn't completely incapacitate you unless they get you off a cliff, but it slows you down. The sandman just leaves you stranded.

The idea that as a heavy or demo attack on avanti and i should be more afraid of a scout than two sentries just doesn't sit right with me. Even if you've got an uber, and the medic worked hard to get it.
I'm not sure about possible fix, maybe vastly reduce/remove the effect is has on ubers. Still need to give it a proper run in game though.

Rather than the sandman stooping the player from moving wouldnt it be better if it just slows them down? ... hit with with the ball and it slows you down by X amount of speed for a short period. stopping you dead in your tracks is madness :gun:

Funny thing is :

With the heavy update, they wanted to make the heavy more flexible being without a medic and introduced the sandviche.

Now as a lone heavy u can get stunned and wait as a lamb to be slaugthered.
Even ubered players can be stunned , wtf ?!
Am in favor of a slowdown, not like now which is bullshit.
Slowdown OR blurred vision.

Same for that lame energy drink...even walking RIGHT through my flames, doesnt damage shit.
Double speed, ok, but invulnerable ?

With the sandman, this game looks more and more like a 3D mario bros game :tongue:

yeah well, if a pyro comes from behind, using the backburner, you're practicly dead.

I'm pretty sure that people will get used to the update, and learn to avoid scouts.

although they could reduce the damage/attack speed done by the sandman.
