Ok after a shit few days of dealing with pain the arse computer problems and people who are so stupid i am surprised they made it this far in life....

So you may have guessed my story is about some one so stupid i am surprised they managed to put there pants on the right way around before they left to go to a shop to buy there new computer.

its 8am and fester was gaming tell 1.30am i get a paniced call from a customer that they bought a shinny new computer from a different local computer sale's repair guy (my compotion) after managing to open the box with out loosing any fingers and just about managing to plug every thing in to its colour cowardented spot they ring me to inform me that there new computer well not turn on.....

They were in such a panic as they needed this machine up and running to watch some porn or something this morning that i jump out of bed in a sleepy manor, drive to the location like a crazed mad man. sit infront of the pc hit the power button.... loading windows vista turned to the customr and said "it seems fine to me what problem were you having".....

I COULD NOT FIND THE POWER BUTTON I THOUGHT THE BADGE WAS THE POWER BUTTON!!!!!!

now i have heard stories like this before from help desk workers and on the interwebs but truly didnt think i would ever meet such a twat!!!

so in respect of this i refuse to work today...

Would love to convey some of the insane decisions that happen in this place, but it's far too depressing when I talk about it and would rather try to ignore the fact that most of the morons (who earn 10 times my salary) in charge probably couldn't buy an ice-cream in the shop without fucking up, let alone manage a bank through this difficult financial crises.

Hey, you've got one of those retards too. We have a classic guy working here. He had a simple job. Order a standalone partition 4 ft high by 5ft wide. What did we end up with. One that's 6ft high and 3 ft wide. GO FIGURE!

You have my sympathy Fester. I had an idiot who got the rootkit and swore blind it wasn't him or anyone else that may have used his laptop.. He had the balls to complain at me for changing the server that impose security restrictions to his dekstop folders so he couldn't get to them.

The worse one so far has been an old timer using his laptop at home and ended up with a virus and loads of spyware. I don't know which was worse in that case. The viurs or the spyware or the fact that he got it looking at granny porn!!!!

We have 20+ of those retards!

Its a really piss off to be honest, because I've worked quite hard for the last 8 years, as we were a pretty cool bank and I was happy working here. Since we were taken over last October though, its become increasingly apparent that my new overloards are complete muppets, going so far as to say that I'm almost embarrassed to be still working here.

By the way, if you think I'm being hard on them, we posted out inital 3rd Quarter figures yesterday, where we lost 3.1bln!!!!!! In 3 fucking months???? Are they for real?????

I have to deal with over 1000+ of people like this. I've had from someone telling me the nework (Ofcourse they said the internet) wasnt working but to my suprise the CAT5 wasnt plugged to someone saying the network printer wouldnt print to find out IT WASNT ON! No suprise here on working with stupid people. KMV are the worse. OMG If you have a KMV Learn WTF it is. Dont tell me you cant log on because you are on a computer on the wrong F-ing network!
