It speed tests itself when your connection's better than the servers'
Docklands fibre (100mbit, gigabit burst) and my ping in game is normally in single digits.
EDIT I used the London server, tried researching the highest records but they seem out of date:

Nice connection there Rallfo.
Not listing on speedtest tho could be that there's not enough samples to be included (100 unique ip's)
Props to our isp tho, 4th on downloads on the global, 3rd on upload and fastest in the UK, including the academics
http://www.speedtest.net/global.php?non ... &country=4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(we have but a lowly 100mb connection onto multiple upstream gbit links. latency? what latency?)

I'm with a weird ISP because my connection goes to the datacenter down the road, maybe they exclude such connections? Where are level 3, cogent, akamai etc?

I think superjanet 5 pwns even the normal internet, but probably speedtest.net aren't peered there... Terabits/sec transmitting CERN data, what a waste, imagine the quantity of hd jamjar rips that could shift.
