(I doubt it is, but I love the depth people go to whilst analysing these things, and I also love the fact that valve (surely deliberately) have introduced these differences! )

in my opinion there is too much tinfoil in this conspiracy theory. I would think that the spy and engineer update arrive at the same time. The scout is not the spies nemesis, the engineer is. And visa versa.

Thought the spy was everybody's nemesis?
