I thought it was a really great finale, but I still wanted some more answers about the island answered... I understand leaving it open to interpretation, so it can mean something different to different people, but I still wanted more. I think ima kidnap Lindelof and torture him for answers.

But its over!

we already got a lost thread here

in short, i loved it. i cried at every scene [that didnt have kate in].
the knife fight was epic until kate showed up and when she shot locke i nearly put my foot through the telly!
it kept to its roots of light vs dark, science vs faith but i loved how they switched the roles of jack and locke around for season 6. before jack volenteered i had a feeling hurley would be king of the island, the only person more connected to it is locke, and he's died like 3 times. i dont know if jack did the magic water ritual right or not. if he did then it means hurley and ben are the new jacob and richard, and someone killed them, starting the cycle off again [with mebbe even a new smoke monster]. OR jack did it wrong and hurley and ben were just human and mortal and lived as well as they could on the island til they died of natural causes.

my main gripe about the sideline, how it was 3 years out of sync with the island timeline, was resolved
everything else wrapped up nicely, only questions we dont really have the answers to are:
who was in the cabin?
if was christians body was never in the coffin, how was MiB able to be him if he was never on the island. if it wasnt MiiB, then who/what was it?
and was there a monster before MiB/adam got thrown down the hole?

tho i can live not knowing about them tbh

now im gonna wait til the complete boxset comes out and watch every episode in 1 long giant L O S T marathon!

Word on the street is, that the box set will answer alot of the questions that people have.

I thought it was crap. Lazy, ill conceived, hurried and didn't really give any answers. It did the now usual thing with story writers of trying to make a happy marriage out of science and religion which just doesn't work (Battlestar Galactica fans you will know what I'm on about).

So is there still loads of unanswered questions? I knew they would do that.

I gave up on Lost once they started traveling through time.
I was just watching it thinking "Oh come on now... really!? Are they actually making them travel in time?"

Lost was amazing at the start but they just dragged it out too much. I reckon the whole story could have easily been done in 3 seasons and it could have gone down as one of the greatest shows ever.

Im sort of interested to know what it was all about in the end but I have a feeling its just gonna disappoint me.

So now that its finally over...

And what is the plot from season 3 onwards
