new update

Fixed team switches on Attack/Defense maps spamming the console

Fixed the Kritzkrieg not working on servers with crits turned off

Fixed some clipped localized strings in various in-game dialogs

Fixed several cases where files were synchronously loaded while the game was running

Fixed a shutdown crash in the material system

Cached rendering of item model panels to improve performance, in particular while weapon selection was visible

Added a gear symbol behind the health bar for Engineer buildings, in both target IDs and freeze panels

Players killing themselves will now give a kill credit to the last enemy who damaged them

Fixed grenades, rockets, and flamethrower being able to fire through grates at round starts

Fixed players being killed and creating ragdolls during team switches

Fixed various exploits and performance problems in CP_Badlands, CP_Well, and CP_Fastlane

Removed health bonus from the Backburner


everyone watch as stream and the guys at valve fuck the pyro yet again

Thats bad news for me!! LOL

No +50 health on the pyro.. woohooo.. That's gonna make life interesting LOL.

Now I will have to go quickly to spec and back to team instead of killing myself :p
Curious if suicide also grant this kill credit...
200HP as solly, one simple LICK of a non-crit flame and drains to half of your health...bah.

Removing the health bonus for the backburner...finally.
Never saw a point in adding health for a pyro that is designed to get enemies in the back with 100% guaranteed crits.
Would have been more logical to add the HP bonus for the assault pyros with normal flamethrower imo.

but the 50+ health does help when ur surrounded by enemies in their own spawn. This could effect my assault on part 1 of goldrush and distracting the red team. :)

its a sad day for pyros anywhere, on the plus side now the old flamethrower will be out more and it does have a better crit rate unless from behind obvoiclyand the air blast does come in handy

Pyros were tending to be imbalanced.
I can be objective as I sometimes also play as pyro and how surprisingly easy it is to get kills with it.
Waving with the flame with your eyes closed ;)
This since they made the flame doing more damage + pyro-pack.

A big difference with the early days of TF2 regarding damage.
