just wonder whos been watching wut or if anyones going in person, personaly i dont tend to watch the summer games much as canada is generaly shit during them and this year seems to be no exception as we are currently 25th over all in the medal standings. street hockey should be an event. give us a chance at a gold medal or 2 /grumble

I went and watched the fencing. There was a great atmosphere there, everyone spectating was giving huge cheers for all contenders, what was funny was we were watching the bouts where 64 fencers entered and were then wittled down to the final 16 and the british guy went out first. hilarious. probably sucked something awful for him but.
travelling was a doddle too! free all day pass on all public transport. easy as.

Been working in london lately, so spending quite a few evenings in hyde park where they are showing the action on big screens, the atmosphere has been insane! Also, went down to the women's football semifinal between France and Japan. Going to see the wheelchair basketball and athletics at paralympics as well, should be fun

ive been watching bits here and there, mainly womens cycling ive been catching for some reason

not a whole lot happening up here in the north east except a few footy matches. 1 of my mates went to the brazil/new zealand match at st james/newcastle and decided it'd be a good idea to follow a bunch of Brazilians she'd never met before down to london. im surprised she made it back in 1 piece tbh, but she said she had a great time down there
also really surprised at how well we're doing, we've smashed our total from Beijing and it's not over yet, i shall also leave you with this
The great thing about our events is that the British athletes who dominate are legit the best in the world at them. Phelps is a shit swimmer compared to most fish. Thats right. Americas greatest ever athlete is less athletic than a salmon. Meanwhile, Chris Hoy is the best Track Cyclist in the world. A cheetah can outrun Usain Bolt, but it sure can't row a boat.
