Well I thought I'd seen enough to last me long enough but alas I've seen it all today.
I was following a car this afternoon that was "ON-TOE". Fucking genius

triffid jokes
when is the last time you saw day of the triffids?
the tv series freaked me out as a kid and I havent seen it since
I'd love to see it again to see how bad it might be

Well that was it exactly, it totally freaked me out as a kid aswell!
And I seem to love things that freaked me out as a kid.
As for Saphierre and Steel, all I remember is the ending, where they were left floating in nothingness or something. My mam used to love it, but I think it was the first time that I saw anything on tv that didn't have a traditional happy ending....which is probably why I remember it.
Actually, I think I'll try to find the ending on youtube!

It's on SciFi all the time I think, or was a few months back, broken into episodes as they like to do.
Day of the Triffids that is.
