you'll have no problem doing what's supposed to work for passwording, and by rights, It Should Work...

have you set up a vs rotation btw?
does it stay vs after map change?
or does it need doins thru a lobby?

Left the map rotation out of it.. but jase has just sent me a pm. You can change the main L4D fester servers to Vs mode by changing the map to VS map.

What a twat for sending me a message whilst I'm remoted in to home from work and on Steam so I cant play.. tempting to kick him muhahahahaha but I won't LOL

ya, but it seems to go back to normal co-op after the map/campaign finishes

I've had the 2nd server as vs a couple of times, but when it goes hibernatin, it goes back to default setup

so without an admin, the only way to kick off vs is thru a lobby? which doesnt neccessarily tie you to your required server unless both client and server have matching search keys afaik

this is w/o a dedicated vs config that is btw

server does reconfig slots n ting on the fly tho

ya I saw that before somewhere, it's total bollox...

delete your maps from the map folder, edit maplist files, move maps in/out when updating...it's all kludgy cock

i don't know if it's been said already but, you can access the server browser.

1. Open the console
2. Type in "openserverbrowser"
3. Hit enter
4. ???
5. Profit!!!
