I'm reading 'A Brief History of Time' at the moment.

I say reading - what I actually mean is reading, re-reading, reading again and then double checking that I have read and understood the bits that I have been reading to make sure that I understand how they apply to the theory I have just read.

It's all the stuff that I'm interested in, broken down into terms that I still have trouble grasping. But it's cool.

Try "a Briefer History of Time" if you're having too much trouble.

Who's the author of that one? Is it Bill Bryson?

You might be thinking of A Short History of Nearly Everything, one of Bryson's only poor books i thought. Really didnt enjoy it.
