Yeah, there is some constructive stuff on this forum (believe it or not :greentoke: ) that'd be better off in a forum for instance xexes tf2 player guide, Mug's textures, the mapping stuff, radio fester... Quite a lot in fact.

One vote for mediawiki - setup's the usual php routine of copy into a folder, give it a database and configure. If there's some kind of reason why it won't run on the server, could run it on mine and point a subdomain at it. ;)

Hacking the authentication plugin so it'll work with the forum usernames shouldn't be too challenging either!

creating/installing a wiki, piece of piss

populating and policing the wiki, a lot more work

Nice idea in theory. Are we collectively together enough to see it come to fruition in practice?

I LOL'ed reading Del and Fester's responses.
I'm in - if I get some sort of points to show my superiourity over the rest of the normal peons - kinda like post count points? Or eye candy/drooling siggy-avi points?
I am a competitive person, I like to win the game. I mean win the interwebs. I mean win the wikipedia I mean... I mean... ugh...
