I read quite alot. I bought NEO magazine quite alot which I guess had more info than the interwebz.
But there are some magazines I bought (Nintendo official Magazine) which you could just find out easy on the internet. I guess that's what put me off games magazines.

We don't get that magazine where I am, we have lots of local alternatives when it comes to gaming magazines, however. One even has a free DVD every issue with tons of little things like drivers, freeware or game demos, but I'm not much into gaming magazines. They require reading

Same, just gotta remember to cancel the subscription before the 2nd quarter

From what I can make out, you are charged per quarter so you can cancel your subscription after any quarter. 1st quarter is £5 then 2nd is the full price of £18 so cancel before the 2nd quarter if you want to.
