A very interesting article about guns in regular FPS games and TF2.

Interesing read. This is why I prefer TF2 over other fps like CS and COD. Ive only played a small bit of CS and ive just never liked it. It just seems to me that allot of the time its a matter of who has better aim.

Thats why I rock the scout whenever I play Counter Strike (Which is not often between life, Guild Wars and TF2)

This is the sole reason I tried out TF2. It looked like a mix of FPS and MMOs. I mean come on, we got CRITS for fuck's sake. All other FPS games have an instant kill headshot in comparison, which really annoyed the piss out of me since it all came down to aim. With TF2 you can actually dodge some of the incoming hurt and you don't fear a random shotgun/scattergun/minigun slug hitting yer head and instantgibbing you. The thing I REALLY enjoy about it is how I don't get instantly killed the moment I join a big shootout (well, not as often as CoD4).
Great job, BBloke!

I played a good bit of CoD 4 online, it's a great game but so very very brutal. You just die and die and die, then go on a massive killing streak and do it to others, then die and die and die.
