Anyway, we love active players, and are happy to have them in the community. You know the drill; play when you can, be friendly, post on ye olde forums and have a laugh. Oh and get a mic to trade verbal abuse. Because we need more voices in the game

I've been at quieter raves than friday night on Festers.

The first scentence is exactly why I stopped playing HL2DM. It was fun for a while, but now it's just full of bad sports and cheating whingers. I thought it was taking the piss when a Bunny hopper was saying 'bullshit' to be because he missed me and I killed him (especially when I don't Bunnyhop!).

And Advent is spot on with the rest of what he said - you come on and play, you post on the forums and you have a laugh with the rest of us. That's what makes you part of the community.

Essentially yes. Its a technique by using a wierd combination (or macro) of keyboard presses that increases the speed of the player. It fucks up the hitboxes so what you think might have been a headshot actually ends up hitting them on the knees.

Like I say, i refused to do it because as far as I'm concerned it's cheating (i.e. doing something that technically you shouldn't be able to do), but the bunny hoppers palm it off as 'advanced technique'. I also found that 95% of the Bunny Hoppers I played with were the worst sports, the most whingy players and ruined the game for me. But like the Murphy's, I'm not bitter.
