Re: Movie Time!
Van Helsing were the best... Haven't seen it in a few years now but I remember it being like totally awesome!
Re: Movie Time!
I don't really have any "favorites" per se, but I do have some great movies that I could definitely watch again.
The Good The Bad and The Ugly:
Classic. Just pure, far out greatness.
Toy Story 2:
One of the rare, "Better than the original" movies. The writers really had some fun with the characters, giving each of them their own brilliant shine.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest:
Beautiful movie. Jack Nicholson is fantastic as a madman.
Insomnia:
One of those movies that had me on the edge of my seat every step of the way. Robin Williams, always known for his comedy roles, shows he's just as capable as a downright bloody creepy bad guy. Fantastic.
Vertigo:
Hitchcock's masterpiece. A classic to the very end. If I had to choose a top five movies, this would be in it, no doubt.
Blade Runner:
Brilliant movie. Knocks all other sci-fi out of the park.
Pan's Labyrinth:
Another top five contender. Blew my mind when I first saw it, and still does.
3:10 to Yuma:
Great western, with very strong characters.
The Assasination of Jesse James:
Another great western.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit:
Cartoons + Classic Noir = Oh yes.
WALL-E
Probably Pixar's finest to date imo. Great story, and the old style, minimal dialog is contrasted brilliantly with the modern 3D.
Pulp Fiction:
Razor sharp dialog, incredible acting (apart from Tarantino himself) and downright hillarious/ enticing/ action packed story. Possibly, my favorite movie, if I had a favorite movie.

Re: Movie Time!
Pan's labyrinth was amazing actually, and when you talk about 3.10 to Yuma are you talking about the original or remake?

My spoon is too big.

It's ironic you post this thread because earlier I was looking through my old clans forum searching for my top 5 movie thread to see what my opinions were. So weird, this shit always happens to me. Talk about synchronization
I'll post mine in a bit

Re: Movie Time!
in terms of animated movies ive alwyas prefered shriek 1 and the ice age movies as they always do such a good job hiding perverted jokes throughout without ruining it for the kids
