Melee only - informalities

So from events today that occured between 6 of us 3 vs 3 informal melee only. We had no admins to vote it so just relying on each others good will and humourous jibes. One person alas did not like agreeing to such things.

So to define melee only informally would be what?

Do you allow jarate?
Allowed flares to set people on fire for axetinguisher?
Allow targes?
Allow buff banners?
Medics healing?
Dispensers?
Teles?

What should be enforced and what should mean that some other player (who shall not be named) Ko$h.....ahem

Also 3 soldiers all equalizers buff bannered against one demo wielding eyelander is very amusing...

Here's what I think:

Nothing that gives crits that you can't dodge easily should be allowed: No buff banner, no flames and axtinguisher (since the flare gun can crit too) and no jarate.

The targe should be allowed as it's easy to dodge if you see it coming and it's always funny if you don't.

Teles are fine, nobody likes walking miles if you're on a big map. Dispensers perhaps if next to the tele exit and not on the battlefront. No medics as they can overheal.

I think melee should be as it is on the tin. Only melee weapons allowed and nothing else, however if you happen to have fancy aquired melee weapons those are also allowed.

i think only weapon 3 is allowed - with all whats coming , demo - the speed , scout - the boink , solly - speed increase with equalizer as he loose health and so on

that way u can answer about using buffs , tele's , flares , or anything that isnt a part of the no' 3 weapon selection

I agree, all the melee weapons should be allowed, even the Sandman, even though it annoys the piss out of me! No healing, no buff banners, no jarate, and no setting people on fire, no matter how weak the axetinguisher is!

Melee is feckin broken tbh,some of the unlocks,equalizer and kgb mostly have fucked up the balance in it
equalizer especially,jesus christ i dont know how many times ive been critted by a full health solly and died.Complete bollocks if ya ask me
