Sadly this will now be an entirely spammed method and he was in advertising (I think), showing you can think outside the box and getting people to read your ad is the holy grail of the ad industry. It probably wouldn't work so well in other industries.

Well done to him. Great idea but now that the idea's public, as Flynn says, it's going to become very widespread and spammed the fuck out of.
