and the scouts, what can they do against a load of heavys even if they kill one they'll be mown down in seconds.

Pah, you are all better than that.
Everyone bitches and moans when the class updates roll around because there's too many pyros/medics/heavys or whatever. Nova and Algo have the right idea; this is the best time to play, all you have to do is exploit their weaknesses. It's like shooting blind, retarded fish in a barrell.
Aye, pyros probably won't have as easy a time of it as snipers or spies, but you still rape a heavy in ambush situations. Demos will have a field day, just keep your distance and pour nades and stickies onto them, plenty of time to retreat and reload because they are so very very slow. Hell, even scouts can take advantage of it, just bounce of the heavies head, grab intel and leg it. Most heavys have difficulty tracking a scout at mid range. Hell, play a new class for a few days, learn some new tricks.
It never really matters what class is getting its update, because no matter what one does you know %80 of people are going to play it. And that means you know what they are going to do. When you can predict what %80 of the server are going to do you should be rubbing your hands together and cackling in evil glee.
Now i'll readily admit i'll be one of the blind, retarded fish-people playing heavy as i have an innate stupid streak when it comes to achievements and unlocks. The new toys and changes , oh they are so much fun, i get giddy
The only bad thing about class updates and everyone stacking on class is it can upset the purpose of the game, be it CP or CTF or PL.
I think we'll be ok with the heavys, there will just bit a comical wall of slow moving flesh shouting "Push Little Cart!!" most of the time. All you need to do to stop that rush is a sentry or two. Heavy's too slow to cover the distance and get close enough to kill a sentry before dying, without a medic of course.
I guess what i'm saying is embrace the updates. Just think toco, ambush three or four heavys, setting the alight. Even if you can't run away before they mow you down their fat little legs will never carry them to health in time.
