
@ Califax & Exterminatus, yes looking at it there are a lot of UT2004 and Serious Sam influences there

@ Toco, the sniper areas are quite limited in sight against ground forces, so whilst they can see action, they are generally forced into attacking the enemy snipers - not a bad thing imo
@ Mug, thanks have looked at links, but will follow up in detail when I have time to carryon with map. Will give you a shout if that's ok if I need any help, especially on specifics.
@ Renax111, as I said above it still needs a LOT of work/effort, but the sizing seems about right on the distance I want the total cart track length and the overall map size.
There will be some other major area features so it won't look that open spaced as it does at present, but I will still be trying to keep the map tidy and very easy to navigate. But i suppose it's more of a "template" at present.
It's not as though I have run out of ideas or am stuck with hammer in any way - it's simply down to Not having enough time

@ Fell, yes i used to build maps in the early with the DukeNukem 3d map editor which was included on the game CD and in comparison Hammer takes you into a completely different league as so much is possible.
It's like using any editor and/or compiler it's a matter of getting familiar with it, although that does seem to take more time especially the older you get! (As i've found out)
* I might well take you up on the offer of trying the map out when I get to update it some more, just so you can see how well it looks and works with your Computer setup
