Thats when Robert Lewellyn was excellent as Kryten and the produvtion values went up a bit.

They've got a sci-fi exhibit on at the Portsmouth City Museum at the moment and theres loads of movie and tv stuff in there like doctor who baddies, star trek costumes, star wars costumes (the original R2-D2) but my point was they have the studio model for starbug there.

Rob Grant and Doug Naylor had a falling out, so series 7 onwards was written by Doug Naylor. It was still funny, but I don't think it was quite as sharp witted as the other series. And the Dave two parter shouldn't have been made - it was very poor.
