If you drink your tea with sugar then which kind of sugar do you prefer? I've tried a lot of sorts but rock sugar is my favourite when it comes to tea.

Now we are talking. <3 that rock sugar and the raw sugar. I used to get rock candy on a stick that was great. Sometimes we would use them as stirrers for drinks. Honey is sweet enough for my tea-unless it's iced then I use something that will disolve quickly.

depends, really. sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. When i'm in reach of a scone i have to have milk in it though.

Never even heard of it Bowsie, but please let me know the name of the stall!Bowzie wrote:Apparently pouring the water in from a height encourages proper brewing aswell. Not sure if it actaully makes a difference but feels like a snazzier pouring motion anyways.
Has anyone here tried "bang" actually?chai tea, lots of milk, some cloves, nutmeg and weed, good shit, gets you so baked. You need to boil the milk and weed leaves at a low temp for a couple of hours but man it's worth it.I've had it a few times at festivals by asking for the "chai special" at a particular stall

Use a metal teapot. That way the scum sticks to the inside and your tea looks better. If you don't use a teapot then use a metal kettle.Flynnstone wrote:My dad always gets pissed off when on holiday on the continent when he has to specifically ask for milk for his tea. Especially when he's had to explain that he wants "Tea" not any of that herbal shite.

If you're in a hard water area adding milk first stops that nasty scum on the top of your tea. And I have to say tea without milk is like a pub without guinness....
Re: Milk in tea! OH YES!
Rock/raw sugar is the shit alrght! brown sugar isnt bad in tea either, but most definately brown sugar for coffee. the difference is massive bhoy!

Re: Milk in tea! OH YES!
You are talking about normal tea though postie? just to clarify. Normal tea meaning tea leaves/tea bags. Earl grey for example. caffienated

Yep I'm talking about normal tea, without sugar, without milk. In the Netherlands tea with milk is for kids. And since I cut down my sugar intake I lost 5 kgs.MuG wrote:You are talking about normal tea though postie? just to clarify. Normal tea meaning tea leaves/tea bags. Earl grey for example. caffienated
Any tea is without sugar, but not green tea. That stuff is gross, revolting.
