Youtube user sloanchurman is 29-years-old and she's been deaf all her life. She received a hearing implant 8 weeks ago and this is when they turned it on. You will probably cry.

Technology is amazing. It reminds me of Blind Dave. He ran 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents and lives in the local area. He spoke at a function evening for my Step-daughters local school. He was blinded due to illness but dreams he will see his daughters for the first time soon. Amazing guy and an amazing after dinner speaker. Very inspirational and very moving.
