Avanti Confusion

I made a little pagerydoo describing how avanti works for the newbies that dunno what is going on and keep going the wrong way with the intel, frustrating their teammates
it's triggered by typing wtfavanti in chat

All we have to do now is get the newbies to type it. Like that'll work!!

I know for one the first time I played avanti i got lost.

The map is definatly a grower. When I first played it I thought it was shit as the choke points for the first and third points are like darth vaders force grip.

But after pklaying it loads it is one of the best teamwork maps around. Running in like a crazed gunman treally does not work. It take dedication by the medics to hang back and wait for ubers, while demomen and pyros push the frontline back giving enough room for the uberheavys to break through and demolish the defences.

Unless its friday night, in which case everyone runs around like headless chickens going splat!!

I picked up the Intel a grand total of once on Avanti, confessed my ignorance and then dropped it as ordered to by Dintbo. Better off, you don't want me trying to be tactical about anything.

Although I'm quite happy to join in a suicidal Pyro rush in front of a heavy in order to punch through that tricky hallway bit. That's generally what I'm doing anyway.

I've noticed that any team with me on it on Avanti will tend to lose. I chalk it down to coincidence...

Nice on Del for that. I just want to see people on the map with all a b c d and e as controll points to attack d before e... next time pls a admin shouts at the players^^
